They also give us a regular market report to assess property prices in the neighborhood. PropTech offers other services too (on actuals) - such as payment of property taxes etc. They helped us with acquiring Khata as well as property tax payment even during the peak of the pandemic. For this, they had to engage with the local Panchayat. Really appreciate their services and prompt communication. Vinod Podar talked to us at the beginning of the engagement, to understand our needs. We first came into contact with PropTech in November 2019 when the apartment that we were going to rent was being managed by them. The entire experience in terms of coordinating and assisting with the transition of the apartment as well as being a conduit between us and our Landlord (who resides outside of India) was fairly good and well managed. They have been a great help even after we have moved in for any challenges we came across with an aim to resolve and limit any consternation. We have a house in Bangalore that we rent for commercial use. We had a long term tenant that had to vacate due to the impact of COVID on the daycare business. My grandpa used to manage all the needs with leasing out the house, but with the onset of the pandemic I thought best to find a property management company. I found a few property management companies for NRIs, but Vinod Podar at PropTech Solutions was the first one who bothered to reach out to me over email and phone. My first few conversations with Vinod were focused on what we need and then how the team can support us. Once I decided to get this team's service, our point of contact was Aamir Hassan Yousuf. Aamir was organized and all our communication was through email and Google Drive which I preferred. This was my first time trying to figure out leasing in India. Aamir was super patient considering that he ended up needing to coordinate with me and my grandpa at times. We found our tenant through the To Let board my grandpa had put in front of the house, but the PropTech team did all the legwork needed to finalize the lease, coordinating with the tenant etc. I highly recommend this team for others looking for a property management company. As part of the service from PropTech they will conduct regular inspections of the house and be our point of contact with the tenant.
